Anyone who has to stain microscope slides has dealt with Dip Quick and the hassles of managing the stain. Individual screw top canisters are the current norm, but they are overly large, allow slides to get dropped inside, and impossible to open and close without getting messy. The old fashioned Coplin Stain jars are a good size and designed to hold slides securely, but they are easy to knock over, the lids are small and easy to misplace and the vials are often left open to dry out. This stand secures the Coplin stain jars in a heavy acrylic base so they are always locked together and virtually impossible to accidentally knock over. The laser cut lid is friction fit and matched to the exact placement of the 3 jars. This makes it easy to cover and uncover all the jars at once. The lid is large enough to never be misplaced. A silicone seal within the lid recess helps reduce evaporation of the fixative stain when closed. The stand is held together with metal bolts and can be disassembled for cleaning if needed.
